NRECA and APPA filed comments with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on provisions of the Water Resources Development Act of 2020 and specifically their implications for federal hydropower customers. Our comments urge the Corps to reach out to the PMAs and their federal hydropower customers during any water supply studies at Corps projects directed by WRDA to understand how any changes contemplated would impact hydropower operations and any associated costs.
