​On February 17, 2021, NRECA submitted comments to the Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) providing recommendations regarding the implementation of rules for the $300 million Broadband Infrastructure Deployment Grant Program enacted on December 27, 2020, as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act.​
