​​NRECA, along with the Utilities Technology Council (UTC), the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), American Public Power Association (APPA), and several investor-owned utilities, held meetings with the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau on July 12, and staff to Chairwoman Rosenworcel and the Office of General Counsel on July 18, to discuss the Motion for Extension of Time of the deadline to file reply comments in the pole replacement proceeding filed by the APPA, EEI, NRECA, and UTC.
