NRECA announced this week that three new senior leaders will be joining NRECA in May.

  • Digna Louis will join NRECA as chief financial officer.
  • Angela Strickland will serve as senior vice president of Business and Technology Strategies.
  • Scott Barash has been named senior vice president and general counsel.

Louis has built capable, high-performing teams and worked across organizations to lead successful strategic initiatives. She has worked with many different business partners and that breadth of experience will serve NRECA well across varied business units.

Strickland most recently served as managing director at GDS Associates and led the group's work on advanced energy roadmaps, energy procurement and electric transportation strategy. She also developed strategy and new market opportunities for ICF's smart communities and innovation initiatives. Prior to her consulting roles, Strickland was Energy Innovation Center Product Development director at Southern Company and Energy Efficiency director at Georgia Power.

Barash grew up in a small Illinois town and embraces the electric cooperative mission. His past roles have also given him familiarity with the challenges of serving rural communities, especially as it relates to closing the digital divide.
