“These NRECA Broadband partners are significantly invested in supporting the success of co-ops, whether they are just entering the broadband space, have hundreds of internet subscribers or are expanding their digitized tools and co-op communications,” he said.

Johnson said co-ops could save tens of thousands of dollars by pursuing many of these discounted services, which can speed up their broadband deployment, assist in compliance with regulations and avoid unnecessary paperwork.
“Our goal is to share the hands-on knowledge we’ve developed through years of supporting cooperatives, helping members overcome permitting, engineering and construction hurdles while improving efficiency and lowering project risk,” said Luke Snow, vice president at TOTH and Associates.

Johnson said many more services are expected to be made available through the program in the coming months.

The program is open to all associate members to join and offer a range of services to NRECA Broadband participants.
