What Your Peers Have to Say
"It felt like our "freshman class" of co-op CEOs. We learned a lot, but the networking alone was invaluable. To hear what others are doing, feel validated by many others facing the same challenges, and meet many people at the associations and vendors with whom we will be doing business. This is a people business, and these few days were all about investing in critical relationships.”-2019 New CEO Orientation Attendee
"I believe the orientation is a MUST for any CEO who has been in their position for less than 1 year.”-2019 New CEO Orientation Attendee
"Great opportunity to create relationships
with others who are also new to their roles and dealing with similar issues. The ability to meet with key staff of the national organizations in a two-day window is very valuable.”-2019 New CEO Orientation Attendee
New CEO Orientation Online Workshop - The Four Transitions of the New CEO
Monday, April 4 – 1:00 – 3:00 pm ET
Wednesday, April 6 – 1:00 – 3:00 pm ET
Sitting in the CEO chair is different than any other chair you've sat in before. Yes, you have been successful in the past and it is because of that success that you have been chosen for the CEO role. But now the accolades are past, and the moving boxes are unpacked, and now you are trying to become the leader your co-op hired you to be. To make that happen there are four major transitions that you must make successfully. During this action-packed, practical and engaging online session bestselling leadership author Kevin Eikenberry will explain these four transitions:
- The Transition of Relationships
- The Transition of Skills
- The Transition of Mindset
- The Transition of Perspective
You will leave with more than an awareness of these transitions, but rather a deep understanding of how navigating these transitions will help you be more successful, and how to get started in doing exactly that.
