Amid ongoing uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and its specific implications for large events, travel, and public health and safety, NRECA has decided to cancel the in-person 2021 NRECA Annual Meeting and TechAdvantage Experience in San Diego, CA, which was scheduled for February 18-24, 2021. We will instead plan for virtual events during these dates.
These combined events ordinarily convene thousands of electric cooperative leaders, employees, and directors from 48 states, as well as the staff and memberships of several national cooperative organizations and NRECA partners, speakers, exhibitors, and international guests. The health and safety of all our participants is of paramount concern.
NRECA is approaching this decision as an opportunity to enrich and expand our annual member meeting, technology conference and expo to new audiences in new ways. We will focus our efforts on quality programing, more opportunities for education and training, and meaningful interaction with industry leaders and technology partners through the TechAdvantage Experience, both its conference and expo. We will be working hard over the coming weeks and months to iron out details on transitioning our expo and sponsorship opportunities and we ask for your patience and understanding during this process.
The decision to cancel the in-person events is a regrettable one; as this is without question NRECA’s flagship gathering. Rest assured we will apply that same high standard as we make alternative arrangements to moving these events online in the months ahead.

Given production schedules for publications, signage and other sponsorship acknowledgements, it is extremely important to adhere to the deadlines. Advertising acknowledgements in RE Magazine are contingent upon receipt of written sponsorship commitment, relative to advertising production deadlines for each issue.
While we will make every effort to provide sponsorship benefits as described here, the final details of sponsorships are subject to change. In the event that a sponsorship benefit becomes unavailable, services or products of equal or greater value will be provided. Sponsors will be notified of any changes.
