NRECA provides learning opportunities specifically tailored to the needs of electric cooperatives. From board leadership training to specialized courses and conferences for nearly every job function at every career stage, NRECA delivers actionable insights and facilitates networking and information sharing that helps cooperatives succeed.

NRECA also develops programs to attract and nurture the next generation of talent. The National Electric Cooperative Mentoring Program is designed to help co-ops retain their top talent and prepare their new HR professionals for current or future responsibilities.

This national program focuses on helping co-ops attract, hire, onboard and retain veterans, as well as care for veterans in our communities.

Electric Cooperative Youth Tour
For more than 50 years, the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour has helped develop future co-op leaders, bringing high school students to Washington, D.C., to learn about the legislative process and meet with elected officials.
