As of August 1, 2016, NRECA will no longer support use of the Internet Explorer 9 web browser (IE 9) on and the NRECA Employee Benefits website.

Why are we ending our support of IE 9?

  1. Internet Explorer 9 is less secure.  IE 9 is no longer supported by Microsoft, which means it is no longer providing security updates to protect against harmful viruses, spyware and other malicious software, which can steal your personal information.  Also, encryption technologies used to protect sensitive information are evolving and will no longer support IE 9. 
  1. NRECA is committed to providing a modern, rich Internet experience for PC and mobile users. Using current web browsers allows us to create and maintain website experiences that are robust, interactive, and mobile friendly.

Upgrading Your Browser
NRECA has seen a significant drop in member use of IE 9 as only 3% of site visits to are still made using this older browser.

If your co-op uses IE 9, please consider upgrading to a current supported version of one of these industry standard browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. Upgrading will allow you to enjoy a modern web browsing experience and eliminate the vulnerabilities that come from using an older browser.
