Professional Development Hour (PDH) is defined as one contact hour of instruction, presentation or study. The term PDH is commonly used in the engineering community.

Many state licensing boards require that professional engineers maintain and improve their skills through continuing education courses and other opportunities for professional development.

For more information on recertification requirements please contact National Society of Professional Engineers at.

Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized and uniform unit of measure for continuing education and training. One (1.0) CEU is defined as ten contact hours of participation in a learning program, with qualified instruction and sponsorship.

Please note – the accrediting organization has the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for credit. You may want to check with your state board or certifying body to see what documentation is required or if pre-course approval is needed.

Registration is required to earn credit. You must attend the live event. Shortly after the event, you will receive a record of your attendance by email.
