In this second session of a three-part webinar series on solar technologies, Doug Danley, senior principal for research and renewable energy with NRECA's Cooperative Research Network, provided a technical overview of residential and utility-scale solar as well as trends in costs. Danley also elaborated on NRECA's Solar Utility Network Deployment Acceleration Project, known as SUNDA, which is being funded by the U.S. Department of Energy and focuses on enhancing the ability of co-ops to design, deploy and operate utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems.
