Based on the growing risk and local, state, and now, national orders, as well as recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization, NRECA has canceled 2020 Cooperative University-Spring.

Cooperative University (Co-op U®) has a 10-year history of providing a unique networking and educational experience designed to meet the professional development needs of co-op staff across the organization. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce an expansion of our 2020 Co-op U® course line-up to include courses across 3 education programs:

NEW! Cooperative Career Essentials Program (CCEP)

This new core competency-based learning portfolio provides the knowledge, skills and abilities every co-op employee, regardless of role or tenure, needs to best serve their co-op and members. Be among the first to register for one or more of five CCEP courses at Co-op U®.

Supervisor and Manager Development Program

photo_for_smdp_in_about_section.jpgFurther customize your learning by registering for courses from our Supervisor and Manager Development Program (SMDP)— a flexible, co-op-specific education program focused on strengthening the leadership skills, knowledge and abilities needed to hire, manage performance, communicate effectively, motivate team members and make decisions.

Certified Key Account Executive (CKAE®)

For those charged with assisting co-op commercial and industrial members, Co-op U® also offers the two classes needed to complete the Coursework portion of the Certified Key Account Executive (CKAE®) certification.

Co-op U® gives you the freedom to build a learning experience that best fits YOUR professional goals all in one location. You can also earn credits* toward each of these programs while gaining practical tools and resources you can share with your teams back at the co-op!

*Credits earned apply to one specified program.

Credits are not interchangeable between multiple programs.
