2020 Cooperative University

Join us in Nashville, Tennessee to enhance your professional development while networking with hundreds of electric co-op colleagues from across the country.

Update: NRECA staff has been closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and continues to prioritize the health and safety of our members, staff and event participants. Local, state and national orders, recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization, travel industry guidance plus the number of participants and where they are coming from all inform our decisions regarding events. For these reasons, NRECA has decided to cancel the fall session of 2020 Cooperative University.

Thank you for your ongoing support of NRECA.

Cooperative University (Co-op U®) has a 10-year history of providing a unique networking and educational experience designed to meet the professional development needs of co-op staff across the organization. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce an expansion of our 2020 Co-op U® course line-up to include courses across 3 education programs:

NEW! Cooperative Career Essentials Program (CCEP)

This new core competency-based learning portfolio provides the knowledge, skills and abilities every co-op employee, regardless of role or tenure, needs to best serve their co-op and members. Be among the first to register for one or more of seven CCEP courses at Co-op U®.

Supervisor and Manager Development Program

Certified Key Account Executive (CKAE®)

For those charged with assisting co-op commercial and industrial members, Co-op U® also offers the two classes needed to complete the Coursework portion of the Certified Key Account Executive (CKAE®) certification.

Co-op U® gives you the freedom to build a learning experience that best fits YOUR professional goals all in one location. You can also earn credits* toward each of these programs while gaining practical tools and resources you can share with your teams back at the co-op!

*Credits earned apply to one specified program. Credits are not interchangeable between multiple programs.
