In Their Own Words….
what CEOs are saying about CEO Close-Up
Good Government Golf Tournament
Of all the meetings we can attend, CEO Close-Up is the best. Put it on your calendar.
Tom Howard, CEO/General Manager
Callaway Electric Cooperative
I recommend it to new CEOs in my state - I tell them this is the best and only conference solely for CEOs/Managers.
Becky Bradburn, General Manager
Top-notch content, great networking--not too large where you get lost, great speakers, like minded CEOs in need of and/or willing to share solutions. My head sponge was definitely full by the end!|
Paul Fitterer, General Manager
Capital Electric Cooperative
Bismarck, North Dakota
The CEO Close-up is a great way to kick off the New Year. With all the current, relevant topics discussed it helps me get a feel for what lies ahead in relation to current events, member needs and different means to serve rural America.
Neil J. Hesse, General Manager
This conference is the best conference NRECA organizes each year. The opportunities to engage with other cooperative CEOs and vendor CEOs are invaluable.
Davd E. Smart, President & CEO
West Kentucky RECC
This (CEO Close-Up) is the best issue specific presentations, leadership training and networking opportunities for electric cooperative CEOs.
Charlie Dunn, CEO
Farmers Electric Cooperative
Great networking opportunities since most discussions are with our peers. Very relevant presentations that were definitely thought-provoking and challenged the status quo.
Julius Hackett, CEO
Tri-County Electric Cooperative
One of the best reasons to attend the CEO Close-Up is that there are only CEOs here. It gives you the opportunity to discuss the issues we all have in a private setting.
Jeff Hohn, President/CEO
It is fun, interesting, and a great chance to connect specifically on issues specific to CEOs or from a CEO perspective which is unique. I arrived in Florida not knowing a soul and left feeling like I had some peers and connections that I know will only grow over time.
Rebecca Towne, CEO
Vermont Electric Cooperative
I typically mention iCEO Close-Up to new CEOs. Indicating they should attend New CEO Orientation and then the CEO Close-up. These two events are an exceptional way to benchmark everything going on at your local cooperative.
Robert C. Hochstetler, President & CEO
Central Power Cooperative, Inc.
Columbia, South Carolina
